Smacked is located on Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village and owned by Roland Conner, who previously served time for marijuana convictions. Under New York State’s Seeding Opportunity Initiative – which prioritizes handing out dispensary licenses to those most affected by prohibition – Roland opened Smacked, one of the first dispensaries under that program to open.
